Default LS1 edit question

I just got edit and I'm having problems.

I can read the pcm. Then I open the edit program.
It brings up the file. But the edit option at the top is not highlighted. I can't click on it.
At first I thought it was because the pcm had ed wright tunning in it. So I put another pcm in and programmed it with stock programming. I read the pcm and am still having the same problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you emailed Ken (pcmdoc@surfree.com) about this?

Sometimes mistakes are made when they build the LS1Edit distribution. You may not have the correct files from Ken.

I did emial ken. He emailed me back.
I had an older version of LS1 edit on my laptop.
It was only for 98. When I installed the new software they sent me. I didn't over wright the old software.

Ken told me to uninstall and delete all the LS1 edit software on my laptop. Then reinstall the software they sent me.

I did that and it worked. So it was my error.
