rotating the mass air meter change the A/F?

rotating the mass air meter change the A/F? Lets say if I rotate my SLP mass air clockwise so the plugin is on the left side instead of the top would it change the readings to the pcm?

Re: rotating the mass air meter change the A/F? I know on my mustangs that if you rotate the mass air sensor if changes the readings the pcm gets. Does this apply to a LS1 too? Anybody tried this before? I will try it tomorrow.
Re: rotating the mass air meter change the A/F? mustangs have a sampling tube so air comming around a corner before the maf could hit or miss the sampling tube if it was rotated one way or another. we dont have a sampling tube
