LS1 Edit Experts Please ,,, Tune for Cam in a A4 i just got a cam for my LS1 and i need to have my car tuned becuase the idle is crazy
i have a 222/226 .566 .569 12 LSA Comp Cam
in a A4 with 3.42 gears and an after market stall about 2100 rpms or 2000
my car idles fine when first started (cold engine) and then in gear, it is fine till a stop light and then after 30 sec or so, it starts to surge three times and then die, and then when restarted, the idle contiunes to surge alittle
can this be easily fixed?
am i always going to have to have an idle problem?
what can be done? what needs to be changed?

Re: LS1 Edit Experts Please ,,, Tune for Cam in a A4 raise idle to 900 or whatever you preferr. The higher the idle the better the idle usually
add timing in base spark park and drive tables
On those tables I only highlited 0-1200 and down to .2 and raised the timing there by 2-4 degrees. Adjust by 2 and see if it helps your car any.
those are just a few basic things to help A4 idle. Or yui can turn the TB blade a little to get more air

Re: LS1 Edit Experts Please ,,, Tune for Cam in a A4 You ca adjust the IAC park position and Idle Air in Gear fields to correct this issue. You may also want to drill your TB out A bit.
