o2 sensor question

o2 sensor question aiight here we go.....i have a 2000 camaro ss with the slp package and ultra z hood and all but i am wondering, my gas mileage is decreasing and it isnt as quick as it used to be......a code that my check engine light sent off was that the catalyst efficiency is below the threshlod on the left and right bank.....is that just the o2 sensors? and i bought some bosch sensors and was planning on putting them on tonight but should that bring the performance back to where it should be? b/c those are the only 2 codes being sent off to the scanner. i appreciate feedback on it....thanx alot...................mike
Re: o2 sensor question O2 sensor codes usually set the service engine soon light. I think you have another problem, o2 sensor's wont make you able to tell that much of a loss of performance if any.
