Default Amateur needs help

i think ive made up my mind on getting a procharger(in the future) but what kind of things should i pay specific attention to when tuning? i am going to order LS1 edit soon and tune it to my car as it is now instead of paying $500+ to have it tuned now and annother $500+ to be tuned after the later. so what advice could you give me on tuning a stock '02 WS6 and then tuning with bolt-ons + blower?

This may be the blind leadint th eblind, but I can give you a couple tips. Fortunately for you there are files you can use to copy the flash file for specific apllications at the Edit library, eg; 02 Camaro w/Procharger, an lots of others. For my truck, there are only a couple to compare to. Edit allows you to copy flash file tables(example high octane spark tables) as long as your segment 1 ID is the same in the Edit open screen. Edit is kinda tricky, not too bad though, and a really limited user guide. I suggest if you have q's, start asking the guys that have the same or close to the same setup. You can ask q's on the edit mailing list, and usually get help. The first thing I did when I got mine, besides see that it was way over my head, was d o a PCM read as per the user guide instrucs. I then spent a day or so learning how to use the compare and copy feature, as well as the increase/decrease by % on the timing tables. I did successfully edit a new flash file for my PCM, but have not loaded it into my truck yet. Hope I helped at least a little. It is a little intimidating w/o much instrucs.
