Default PCM forgetting LS1edit and Tech II programming?

I ported my T/B a couple weeks ago, and after I installed it I resetted my PCM. I put about 15 miles on it and it felt fine. Then on my way to e-town, while stopped at a light I got a reduced engine power message and the car stalled. I had to pull the key and re-insert it to restart it. It happened once more on the way to the track, then a couple times at the track, becomming more frequent. The car even shifted early on a couple passes(1-2 shift), killing my E.T.'s.
I also noticed a few DTCs. One was for my rear O2's(erased by LS1edit last year), one for the T/B(causing the stalling), and my PCM was looking for my tire pressure sensors, which was switched off with a Tech II last year.

Then on my way home I had to put the car in neutral and rev the gas at every light and while decelerating to keep the car from stalling, and the car still stalled twice, both times on bridges!

I got home and resetted the battery and all the DTCs disapeared, and my old programming returned(rear O2's and tire sensors deleted). I also drove it about 20 miles or so and so far so good.

Is it possible I didn't pull the battery long enough the first time and the computer didn't fully reset, causing all those problems after installing the ported T/B? Or is my PCM going south? I'm a little nervous about heading back to E-town tomorrow.

Default Re: PCM forgetting LS1edit and Tech II programming?

hey man i had the same problem
i poted my t/b and it ran fine for a week or so
and then at a stop light my car started to
run rough and die,i turnd it off for about 10-15
sec. and started it up again and drove off
it did that to me about once every two days
and progresivly got wores
i talked to a lot of techs and they could not
find the problem, they had no idea
so i started to work on it,
and the next day i found out that it was my
tp sensor some how it had got some water or
cleaner in it and shorted, corroded it
so it would read the wrong resistance value
and the pcm could not tell wich position
the t/b flap was and caused a reduced engine
problem.
i took it off and apart and got some Qtips
and isopropyl alcohol and cleand off the
reostat band/ribbon and the reostat scrapers
realy good and put it back to gether and
let it dry for a few min.
and tried it again and it worked
i have never had that problem again, and it
has been about 8-9 months

you mite check your sensor with a v/ohms
meter and check your resistance
it should be pretty constant and steady
going up and down when you open and close the t/b

hope this helps man
if this is what is wrong with your car
good luck
