Tuning a stock LS1 a waste of time???
Remember it's your 300....spend it whichever way you want <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I would say wait until you have a cam and/or headers to have it tuned. The stock tune on these cars is pretty good until you start doing mods. I just Autotaped my basicaly stock 2001 LS1 with only an air box and cat-back. I got an average of 900 mV at WOT, which is really not all that rich. 890 mV seems to be optimum. I get black soot inside my exhaust tips also, but this may be from rich running at cold start-up.
