Default Help with tach wire

I'm trying to install a shift light into my 98 t/a and I've run into a small problem. According to the instructions, on 98's the tach wire is located in the topmost (blue?) connector on the pcm. The bottom connector (red) is pretty easy to pull, but I'm having a good deal of trouble pulling off the second connector in order to get at the wire so I can splice into it. What's the best way to get at the tach wire of a 98 in order to run a shift light?

Thanks guys, all help is appreciated. You can shoot me an email at puplehaze1@aol.com if that is easier as well.

It may be easier to pull the PCM out of it's cubbyhole. It takes a little tuggin but it will come free.

Alright thanks, I think I figured out how to get at the tach wire but now I have to figure out a way to mount the light in the mini ac vent on the drivers side. Is the a/c tubing supposed to be cut? I tried to tuck it back and there isn't enough room it seems.
