LS1 edit I am VERY unhappy with Cartek's tuning. They did nothing for my idle (which is horrible). Only did 3 pulls and told me that was all it had. No air/fuel chart, nothing. They originally told me it was $550 no matter how long it takes and they would take care of the idle. I waited 4 hours to get my car in and after they got started, the above was it. I spent a lot of my money there for other things too. I'm assuming, being I didn't have THEIR package, they weren't worried about it.
So anyway, I talked to Mike at Rapid motorsports (he's local) and he wants $450 plus I have to pay to rent the dyno.
I was wondering how difficult it would be for me to fine tune the car and do something for the idle if I bought the program.
How much is it, where can I get it?

Do some searching in this forum on "idle", and you will get quite a few hits. Also search on IAC.
Also go over to http://www.ls1edit.com and search the archives there. And don't forget to hit the LS1Edit FAQ button at the top of this forum, and read ChrisB's page.
Hope this helps. If you're not happy with it, obviously they didn't do it right. I'd hope they'd take care of you...

Re: LS1 edit I ran the car last night with a Snap on scanner hooked up and saw 28 - 29 degrees of timing at the top of the rpm, o2 mv ranged from 920-940 as the car warmed up they got higher, 38 degrees IAT. no KR
what would the 920-940 come out to for air/fuel ratio?

Re: LS1 edit The only known air fuel ratio is 14.7:1 at 450 mV on the factory O2's. Anything outside that range is pure guesswork.
For example, 920 mV on my car may be 12:1, 920 mV on your car may be 13:1. But 450 mV on both cars will be 14.7:1.
The only way to really know AFR is with a wideband O2 sensor reading. Ours are 'narrowband', only accurate within a small range.
