Question for Camaroholic
What happened here...
For my '94 Z28, I bought some used SVO 30# injectors from a shop. A friend of mine bought some used 30# injectors from the same shop at the same time for his LT1 car - and got the '931s.
I put mine in and had no problems. I set my injector constant to ~32 lb/hr and all was right with my block learns.
My friend put his injectors in - they were a different color than mine (mine had the red top, his - I don't remember the color - but they were different). Anyhow, he stuck his in, rescaled his injector constant to 30 lb/hr, and his LTrims went to 160 (PCM reading 'off-scale lean'). He kept changing his injector constant until his LTrims got to ~128 at idle (0%) - and ended up at about 22 lb/hr for his injector constant.
This started a flurry of questions... And I heard from at least one more person that he'd purchased a set of these '931s as 30# injectors, only to find out that his car ran very lean with them (he had a supercharged car) - so he swapped them out to different injectors and eliminated the problem - but he sold them before he could really test them out any more.
So, if you have a set of '931s, what you can do is to stick them in - leaving your injector constant alone - and watch your LTrims. If you go 'lean' - to +25% (as I suspect you might), then you'll know what's going on. Watch the trims - that's the most important thing when attempting to calibrate.
I do not know why this happened, I just know that it happened to several folks, not just the 2 guys I talked about here. It's been ~2 years since this happened, though.
I do not know the scaling you'd need in the LS1 car for these injectors. This entire incident was in LT1 cars.
Good luck,

I have searched everywhere to try and find the fuel pressure used in the 4.0L trucks, but no luck. I may be getting off-track for this forum, but do you have any idea where I might find that info? Thanks.....John
Never know, you may reach someone who'd be willing to give you an answer. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> Good luck,
