Default What is the purpose of Full Rewrite?

I know both big companies have that option, but what is the purpose? Is there something that can't be covered in a basic flash?

It rewrites the operating system in addition to the calibration.

IT also allows you to make a compatible computer into another. For example,

a 99 silverado Pcm into a 2002 z28.

The Biggest thing that we like is the Custom operating systems that are being made, so we can use a factory computer to run our big engine combos. That requires a full rewrite of the pcm.

keep in mind it can also be used to fry your PCM... hence, only use it when absolutely necessary as mentioned above.
