Default Car too lean. MAFT?

Should I get a MAFT? Pros. and Cons. to them, Is it worth it to put in stock ported MAF ends and a MAFT?
Thanks in advance.

I think a MAFT is worth whatever it costs. I have one on my car along with Autotap and I've tuned my car to a 13:1 air/fuel ratio. My car I noticed ran really rich from the factory for some reason. I have an LS1 lid, Granatelli MAF, and Borla cat-back exhaust and I dynoed 328 rwhp and I know the MAFT helped a TON. I would highly recommend it if you have Autotap. If not it will be extremely hard to tune unless you go to the dyno shop with W/B.

I purchased one used a week or so ago. I just had headers installed and it helped me tune my base setting, as well as get my WOT tuned correctly. Now I also have a Predator, but you can't adjust part throttle fuel settings, so I needed to get a MAFT to get a base tune. It would have been cheaper to get LS1 edit than the MAFT & Predator, so if you plan on more mods down the road, and have a laptop, it might be a better option.
