Default Did I damage the PCM?

I had the battery disconnected while I worked under the car over the past couple of weeks. While I was working, I had to turn the ignition to the ON position so I could turn the wheel. So I finish my work yesterday and reconnect the battery with the ignition still in the ON position and it arks momentarily between the positive terminal and the battery cable. I couldn't start it cause the battery died while sitting, but I wonder if I screwed up the PCM by reconnecting the battery with the ignition ON?

I highly doubt it. Get yourself a new battery and see what happens.

Shouldn't be a problem on the LS1 PCM. My benchtop programming harness hits power to the ignition and PCM at the same time.

It is a problem on OBDII LT1 PCMs, tho. They don't like that. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
