Default Low octane map for bad gas?

For some crazy reason, cant figure out why, my car is using the low octane fuel and spark map even thoough I have 96 octane gas is it. The low octain map pulls timing down to 23 advance spark while the high oct. map is set at 29 at wot. Any of you guys heard of this? Any help would be welcome!

I have a little experience, not too much. Have you used Atap to see if you are getting KR at the same time? Maybe false KR? Something loose banging under there? Someone told me that if there is a low amount of gas in the tank, that it will auto-switch to the low octane tables. I have not seen this in person, so i don't know for sure. run some scanning software and see WTF it is saying Sam
