Maf not throwing the right code when set to 0

My friends maf is set to 0 and even unplugged to work on the ve table. He is throwing only a p0102... It says in several documents that you must be throwing a po103 code to be in speed density?
What am I doing wrong here...

Set P0101, P0102 and P0103 to set MIL at first error. Set MAF fail Hz to 0. Unplug MAF.

That should do it...

P0102 will put it into SD also ... any MAF fail/outta range codes will put it into SD
