can predator be unlocked from my car?? I was wondering if the predator can be unlocked from my car and if so how <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> ? Also what is the correct way to put my car back to the factory setting's. Thanks <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
Re: can predator be unlocked from my car?? The answer is no it cannot be unlocked from your car. The moment you install the power tune it belongs to your car for life unlike the hypertech. I already talked to Diablo about if you bought a new LS1 and wanted to use your current Predator it will not work with the power tune. You can use your Predator in 99 and up LS1's to do real time data and reset check engine lights even though it is married to your car. They said it would cost to much to have you send it back to them to get reflashed for use in another car.
You can restore you car back to it's orignal state that it was before you put in the tune. It keeps this in memory of the Predator.
I brought my car down to Diablo in person for a custom Dyno tune and have been happy ever since.
They will also send you custom files for your specific needs. I have 5 extra files that I am playing with for my converter lockup. I am happy with Diablo this far. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
