Default Getting rid of the EGR SES light without LS1 EDIT.

I know this is possible. I just don't know what resistor is needed and where it needs to go. It's done the same way you do the CAGS delete on your tranny. I want to get rid of the AIR as well as the EGR system and put on race style headers. Removing the AIR shoudn't throw any codes right? I'm doing a small cam (either the TR 224 or the Comp Cams XE-R 224 on a 112 LSA) with stock heads and think I can get away without LS1 edit. I really just want the lope of the bigger cam. Any info would be great. Thanks.

Removing the air system will set codes. It just takes longer.

There is no *clean* way to get rid of the EGR ses light without tuning. The function of the EGR is not only checked by the EGR feedback but by other engine running perameters.

On the bright side, neither the air system or the EGR system effects HP when it sets a code.

You are going to set a P0300 code with that 224 cam anyways. Without LS1 Edit you are going to be staring at an SES code anyways.
