this damn "service engine soon" light...?

this damn "service engine soon" light...? well i took the A.I.R tubes off the manifold intakes and put bloc-off plates inplace of them.....would this be setting the light off?

Re: this damn "service engine soon" light...? Probly, i just installed new slp long tubes and sure enough the service engine soon light came on afterwards. But i just reset the computer and as good as new. Good luck,

I just installed SLP long tubes with the cats. The next day my SES light came on. How did you reset the computer? I installed the superchips tuning with the handheld unit and the light goes out. I wonder why it is coming on with stock tuning? Did you install the SLP cats?
