Default how bad is it

i really screwed up.i ran the wire from a a/f ratio gage to close to the header. the one that taps into the o2 sensor, and it melted right to the header. so i put in a new sensor and even a new computer. it's just a freakin mess. b1 ltft is +25 while b2 is -15.b1 pulse width is like 10.5 at idle, while b2 is 2.8. b1 is the side i tapped into. what else can i check. the car just coughes and spitts. can't hold an idle. the only code i'm throwing is for map to low.any suggestions.

Good lord.....sounds like a mess.

You'll have to attack these problems 1 at a time.

First: The MAP code. What codes is this, number please. If the MAP sensor is not working, your car will run like ****. This problem needs to be fixed first if it is a system performance code.

2nd: O2 LTerms. Your big problem is bank 1. Bank 2 looks okay. You need to find out why you have +25 LTerms on bank 1. Things that could cause this: are bad wiring, bad O2, very bad exhuast leak, exuast opened too close to O2 sensor, O2 sensor exposed to outside air, very lean condition on bank 1.

Good Luck,
Kevin

Oh yeah, when you got your new computer did you do a crank position re-learn first.

This needs to be done if the computer is brand-spankin-new from GM. If the computer is out a different car, then you should be okay.
