Best Rev Limit for stock T\A LS1
Thanks john

Good Luck,

Having that rev limiter kill your fuel uneccesarily (if it is shifting at a good point) can damage your car, too... AND be disappointing performance-wise.
An automatic is not in as much trouble with damaging the valve-train with over-revs as the M6's are.

<strong> Most stock cars peak in the high 5000 range (ie 5700 to 5800). I would shift at 6200 and set your rev limiter at 6400 for best results.

Raising the limiter on stock springs is one of those "At your own risk" sort of things.
Some people never have problems. Me personally, I broke a stock spring in half at 20k on the stock limiter.
Good Luck,
Kevin
also thanks u all ive posted this in many different places and this is the one of the only ones where I got useful replies that seem sound and from knoldegeable people (with some exceptions: prostock also gave me a straight answer along with FEW others in other locations)
