Re: Install AutoTap on 2 computers??
If you are going to use this primarily for LS1 stuff I'd highly recommend EFILive over Autotap. EFILive has a much better interface (in my opinion) and is much more stable in terms of crashing/disconnects. EFILive also supports interface modes not available in A-tap. These mode will allow you to capture more parameters at a much higher rate. The Pro version of EFILive will also give you bi-directional controls that allow you to control things like idle speed, LTrim resets, TC lockup, gear locking, FANs, etc. But... if you still decide to go with A-tap you only need to purchase one cable. The software can be installed on multiple machines. There will be an activation key that is tied to the A-tap cable only. If you do go with A-tap get the enhanced version or you will be unable to view a number if important parameters. The generic version is too limited on the LS1s.
