I got a diablo predator tuner with my car. The guy said it was for a 99 formula, my car is a 00 SS. Is there a way to make sure the last car reset to factory tune? In other words is there a way to make sure I can send it in for 99 bucks and have it changed to work with my car? thanks

Yeah, saw it posted here a few months ago. I think it's in the Predator "Options" section, either Car Tune (last tune written to vehicle) or Performance Type (performance tune information). Sorry...can't remember which.

 

Just plugged mine into the wall outlet - I have a custom tune. Under car tune it says "diablo tune." I'm thinking under car tune yours should say "stock tune" or something similar. Hope this helps...

 

so if it says stock tune it can be reprogrammed to my vin number? i havent checked yet, im going to check tonight though. Just trying to get it straight..

 

That's my understanding...has to be returned to stock before sending in in. http://www.diablosport.com/faq/index...&id=54&lang=en BTW, under Performance Type mine says "performance file."
