Default Force induction questions

What is an acceptable range of AFR and timing values for various boost values?

The FI forum would probably be best for this question. (even though it is a tuning question...)

Very conservative timing would be 10-11 degrees. Lower boost levels get away with 15 degrees, maybe more. Depends on if you're intercooled or not too.

A/F - conservative - 11:1, you can go up from there, maybe as much as 11.5:1. Depends on if you're dyno tuning or street tuning too.

Default tuning

Depends on boost and Comp. ratio your running. a stock motor say 8 or 9 psi start at 9* and work you way up to say 11 or so watching it closely. AFR from 11-11.8. If possible do it on a mustang dyno do a pull through all your gears and make sure intake air temps dont raise to high.
