Hp tuners ?
Just got the latest version of hp tuners on friday. I got the enhanced I/O. .
So I have a loptop that is perfectly capable other than the fact that it'll only run on the battery. And to get that sucker to charge I have to stack some objects on the cord (where it plugs into the computer) and tilt it at an angle, where it'll finally make the "connection" and start charging.
Sorry about the story. I also have a p/c which is capable other than the size.
So finally the question... Can I load the program on more than one computer without costing points, or does it matter, as long as i'm only working on the one vin#?
Maybe I can do some work on the p/c, after collecting data on the laptop, during it's hopefully, not to brief battery life. (it's charging right now.)
Just looking for some input. Sorry major tuning newb!

So.... where do I look for some "generic" starter tune that I can adjust from there. I was hoping it'd be cheaper since I've already got the software. No wideband yet . But it'll come, just need something to get the mods in sig. working up to par

since you're a 98 your starter tune is whatever you download from the PCM (and ONLY upload files that are derivatives of your original PCM download)
There may be some example tunes in the repository, however they are there only for learning purposes... I don't reccommend anyone just blindly use any settings from it... just there to see what people did and why they did it, then you can make changes based on their examples to your file.
