no, it is not, there's a thread where we settled it, i found a bosch injector catalog with part numbers and specs. i use 3bar (43.5psi) for svo30s and 42 rated pressure.

OK, so the IFR values should be OK then, as based previously on 43.5 rated pressure...

Going to lunch now, will reflash with stock VE and take a drive and report back in an hour or so.

Thanks guys.

In your first post, you state you are using your LC1 to tune your VE, but in later post you make reference to resetting your fuel trims... You really need to be in OLSD to make the most of your WB VE tuning.

OK, you guys got me thinking about injectors flow rates, so I did some research.

The Ford SVO 42# injectors (Ford P/N M-9593-F302, Bosch P/N 0 280 150 558) are rated 40 lbs/hour at 3 Bar (43.5).

I looked up the flow rates here: Flow Rate Linky

Anytime I am using the wideband to tune VE I am in OLSD. I am only resetting fuel trims when using/changing the "driving tune", which is closed loop and has the MAF enabled.

Sorry if that was confusing.

So, just got back from lunch and I have to say that's the worst my car has ever felt driving. I had to stop halfway home and flash an old tune because I couldn't stand it chugging/bogging so badly. (People walking on the sides of the road were craning their necks like WTF ).

I gave up and rode my motorcycle back to work, I think I'm going to just start from my stock tune, set the new IFR and idle RPM and see what happens. This is just too wierd.

One other thought, I know closed loop fuel trimming is based on O2 feedback, wonder if my O2's are shot. They're only about 6-8 months old but I have been running rich and tuning in open loop etc. They seem to be switching OK, but I am at a loss here.

One last thing, probably nothing, but my laptop battery died during a flash a couple of days ago - I panicked haha - but plugged it into A/C power and re-flashed and everything seems OK...

Regarding your close loop operation- Take a look at your Closed Loop Proportional Gain vs. O2 Error (Fuel Contro/Open&ClosedLoop). Yours are set low, i.e. .125. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe a lower number will cause the closed loop fuel trims to become 'sluggish'.

Mine (and some others I've looked at) are set to 1.00 until around 245mv error, then the numbers go up (making the loops change faster)

Interesting, would you think that would help with exhaust smell when running no cats?

Don't think so. It just changes how fast the fuel trims react. Or at least that's my take on them.
