my SES light has been ever since i did headers because i took the EGR off, recently my cousin gave me his Actron CP9135 OBD II AutoScanner. I tried using it on my car, it reads EGR low inupt, i press erase, it says its erased but i turn the car on and SES light still on, so i try it again it the EGR low inout comes up again, what am i doing wrong

your deleting the code, and then within seconds of you starting the car the car goes through the egr test finds wow its not working then sets a dtc and you get your ses light. The way to fix this is to get a tune.
