Speedo and idle problems
Speedo and idle problems i just installed a head/cam setup in my 02 SS and the speedo works fine during normal driving, but under hard accel. it goes crazy jumping up and and then back down really fast, and also when i start it up it doesn't like to stay running , but then levels off, but after a while of driving when i put it in neutral the rpms drop and wants to cut off.......any advice would be greatly appreciated
During the head and cam install, there may have been a ground wire that didn't get hooked back up tight (one goes from the block to chassis on the passenger side) or a connector somewhere isn't plugged in all the way. Another possibility is a wire harness got pinched somewere as a result of the reassembly. Make sure you have a good connections to the battery also.
