Maf Translator

Could someone tell me if there are any noticable gains from a maf translator with a stock pcm or do I need some tunning to see any performance gains.

I had one awhile back and it did help the AFR after installing headers. I ended up selling it and bought LS1 Edit. The MAF Translator fools the PCM in thinking there is more/less airflow and doesn't allow specific areas to be adjusted. The MAFT can be outgrown quickly and with the tuning packages available, it is obsolete. Back in the day it was MAFT or $500+ for editing software.

I think it is a good tuning tool most useful for someone that can't convienently tune via a laptop but wants a car to go down the strip. It is not going to be accurate but will easily get the job done.
