Default help...misfire problem..car has BS3

I recently removed a gen 7 and installed a bigstuff3 on my tt c5. the tuning process is just about done except for one problem. the car cuts out and pops between 4000 and 4500 rpms. this happens on vacum or boost. at light throttle, it is like the car is on the rev limiter. if you just hammer the throttle while rolling, the engine stumbles at around 4k, pops, then spools the turbos and goes like blazes. the car runs great above and below the 4k area. I have shifted the af around between 14.5 and 11.5 and it makes no difference whatsoever. the crank sensor, coils, wires and plugs have all been replaced. I'm about to start pulling my hair out. does anyone have any ideas???

Problem is the cam and crank signals are very close..diasble the cam sync error test and it'll work fine.
