ok i bought a laptop with efi on it...but the person i bought it from did not have the cable or was still using it or somthing.... where can i get te cable i need? alo i have ls1 edit on the lap top too! and i have the cable for that, could i use the same cable? or are thye way differnet?

 

efi cable is locked to your pcm id.
So you need to get a cable from efi, which means you need to buy the full product. The software is freely downloadable, consider the cable a hardware dongle.
Personal version lets you tune 2 pcm's, commercial lets you flash full OS's in including custom SD/FI/NOS etc os's in too, which are free to download.
