How long does the PCM take to cycle???

How long does the PCM take to cycle??? I have to get emissions done and 2 days ago the wonderfull SES light decided to pay a visit. I scanned and fixed the problem, deleted the codes and went on my way.
I have about 140 miles on it since scanned and went to get emissions and it failed due to no computer data showing up on the emission scanner. I was wondering how long it normally would take for the PCM to cycle and be ready to check again. What all does it need to check? Any certain amount of shut-off's and start ups required?

Not sure what you mean by "no computer data..." Readiness tests maybe? Maybe a couple drive cycles will help. www.obdii.com/drivecycle.html
