Indentify year of pcm

I have tried searching but am coming up empty.

I have found a used pcm for a T56 f-body which is supposed to be out of a 02.

Is there a way to verify which year it is from or even that it is a ls1 ecm?

You can scan it and see what operating system it's running. My '02 runs OS 12212156.

post the hardware number, that can determine if it will be compatible with a 99-02 f-car.

Where is the hardware # located?

I do not have a PCM in front of me, it was found a forum posted by someone that is relatively new.
