speed governors

im not sure if this in the right thread but here we go

i have a 99 firebird v6 3.8 and want to take off/turn off the governor. can someone give me directions and steps on how to do it please? pic would be nice. thanks alot

Are your tires rated to go above the governed speed??

No sense in disabling the governor of your car can't safely travel that fast.

I know you can tune them out on the V-8's but why would u want too they wont go too much above the limiter stock and it takes a while to top them out...I used to have a V-6 it was limited to around 118
