Lean codes Hey guys I just installed a STS system on my car yesterday and I got the moderate tune from Nelsons Tuning with the kit I have 42# injectors and I also have long tubes no cats and rear o2 sims, I have great fuel pressure and I checked plugs today and they are not showing being lean but i am gettin a code for lean in both banks. Is my car still just learning or do I have a problem I am only running 5Lbs of boost. Is this common or not. I have also thrown this code once before right after i got the long tubes and the off road y and sims. but checked plugs and they were not showing lean. Thanks
Sounds like the PCM is compensating for a lack of fuel and it's reached it's limit of 25%. That's why you're getting the code. I'd say the guy who "tuned" your car didn't even come close to getting it right.
