Default inovative tuning probs.

Tuning my friends car today with a inovative WB and HP tuners. Idling the car is at 9.9:1 cruising the car is at 20:1 and at WOT it runs around 9.9:1 if you just hit on the gas and let off it goes to 11-12. Now ive changed the VE tables so drastically and it is running in SD. the A/f does not change.

Also, how can you log with the software that came with the inovative LC-1? how can it know your rpms? other than the a/f it tells you nothing.

I dont have the enhanced version of hp tuner, and how can you do this easily without it? or can you? if you cant why would they sell it without?

the car is 99 formula, ported heads, 224/.581 cam , headers x-pipe, yank SS 3800 stall, 4.10s, slicks, and it runs really good.

Im just confused how the A/F could be so off, or is it the damn wideband giving faulty readings? we calibrated it, and the light is on steady meaning ready for use. no trouble codes.

I can't elaborate much on the HPT side of your problem, but, it sounds like you may need to verify your calibration, check for exhuast leaks, leaky injectors, vacuum leaks.

I'm using HPtuners with the MPVI PRO interface hooked up to a FJO wideband.
The software has the LC-1 option also. I can log AFR and rpm and map, on the histogram or the chart. You can also use the VE AFR% error histogram and copy & paste the table to your ve table if your sd tuning. If your tuning your maf, use the maf error histogram.
This is the best way to tune. I would upgrade your interface to the MPVI PRO version. It is $199.00 and you get the VCM Suite 2.16 and there is a 2.1.8 update as well. The 1.XX version doesn't have the maf error histogram.

on pre 01 cars, use the SECONDARY ve table.....

Both VE tables are the same. No exhaust leaks, and the car runs awsome. 20:1 cruising, no leaky injectors.
So you cant do anything without the MPVI pro version?

Your car is NOT running awesome cruising at 20/1. You obviously have something calibrated and or wired wrong with the wideband. I suspect even at light load you would probably start having misfire issues at anything leaner than 18/1. Either way, you wouldn't make any power. I have a feeling you need to spend more time with the lc-1 users manual.
