Opinion on OBDII scanner!!
I was looking at the proscanner 4.0

Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated, Thanks
Realistically... w/all the full suites available now adays... scanning only software is pretty useless now... (unless you've got an arrangment w/a tuner that will use your scan data to modify your PCM ... even then... you need to find out what they want)
Think about it... if you scan your car... and find out you're getting lots of knock and running poor timing ... what are you going to do about it w/out a tuner? Also you won't be able to have your WOT tuned accurately w/out a wideband.....
but... if you're JUST looking for a CODE scanner... then there are lots of options (Sears sells a code reader for like 60 or 70 bux... prolly lots of other solutions out there)
Actually, I do have a wide band controller for my fuel ratio gauge but i'm not sure if i can put all this software together to work in my favor and make any adjustments if that is what you mean
it CAN NOT adjust timing and stuff... that tool is scanning only ... it can not modify the PCM
the 1/4 mile and 60ft time features are pretty much useless.... these are calcs based on the rear wheels spinning.. don't take tire spin into account ... a g-tech is much more accurate [since it uses accelerometers] (and a g-tech is a waste unless u get it for low cost)

It is scanning only, 1/4 mile and 60ft... unless they've added accelerometers.. are just calculated values.....
