LS1 Edit

I have the plug/wire and the chip looking part. Do I need software or is it plug and play. If I do need software, can I d/l it, or do I have to have a CD? This came with the car and the wire is in a package that isnt opened, but the other owner gave me no CD, so I am lost as to what I need.

won't work without the software.
You should contact carputing to get what you need.

They will charge you $50 to make you a supported customer and another $50 to email you the software you need.

Kinda lame huh??

Carputing's policy on software updates is repulsive since there is no real active development on the ls1edit software. They need to step it up into the 21st century and actually compete with some of the other tuner packages that are out now.
