Timing advance????
It all depends on weather as well - when cold the car will reach higher g/cylinder and will reach different point of the table.
But at WOT and say 4000rpm you want as much as possible without knock - at least thats what the dyno said about my car. My guess if you have good exhaust is up around 25-27 degrees is possible - maybe more.
But its not a simple one step process.
4400 RPM ~ +0.5*
4800 RPM ~ +1.0*
5200 RPM ~ +1.5*
5600 RPM ~ +2.0*
6000 RPM ~ +2.0*
6400 RPM ~ +2.0*
'98-'00s have a different spark map that's already pretty agressive. You can try what I did with mine if you have one of those years, but you'll have to keep a close eye for KR. If you're already getting KR, try getting a hold of an '02 tune and see if those spark maps (high octane, low octane, base spark idle, and base spark p/n) are a good base to start from.
