4rth to 2nd downshift (Automatic)
Hello All,
I'm tunning a '04 GTO with a 4L60E auto. If I'm driving in the mph range of 35-60 and go to WOT, the tranny will only shift to 3rd gear. It will not go to 2nd gear! I'm tunning with EFILive Commercial and I've changed the downshift table at WOT to 76 mph and it still does the same thing!! Am I over looking a table or something I need to change?
Thanks, Cole

I'm sorry I told you wrong. The values in the throttle kickdown tables are TPS %.
The tables are D0960, D0961, and D0962.
If you wanted the kickdown-shift from 3rd gear to 2nd gear between 40 and 72 MPH the D0961 table would look like this:
MPH TPS%
0 100
8 100
16 100
24 100
32 100
40 75
48 75
56 75
64 75
72 75
80 100
88 100
96 100
104 100
Is this basically what you have there?

On my '04 GTO, the throttle cable had too much slack in it from the factory, which made it very difficult to get it to kick down to 2nd gear. (Basically as delivered, the car would not downshift to second at any speed over about 50 MPH, because the TPS % reading was too low.) Tightening the cable helped greatly. So if you haven't already, you should take a look to see if you are really getting full throttle when you mash the pedal down.

white2001s10,
I tryed your table and still no change in the down shift. I also try changing the down shift table at 100% as well and still no change. So I'm going to keep doing research on this and see what else I can come up with. Thanks everyone for all your help!
Thanks,
Cole
