Default Tuning and Headers???

This is kinda a repost... but I am about to put on my LTs and I live nowhere close to a place where I can get a good tune. So is it really that bad to go without a tune? Or is there a way that I can tune the Air/Fuel (without a tune and besides programs like ls1edit)? I also plan on using o2 simms.

You won't hurt anything goimg without a tune, but I had zero
performance results untill after the tune.

The only real way to tune the AFR is by using a wideband O2 sensor. If you can get your hands on one of those to see what your AFR is, then you could tune your car with a MAF Translator. You would also need access to a scanner of some sort (like autotap or someone's Predator) to see where your fuel trims are at. With those two things, you can adjust the MAF Translator for different parts of the curve to bring your fueling into line.
