Default interesting KR question??

If you setup a new motor with a bigger cam and your P/V clearance was to close and you were getting some slight contact,do you think it would set off the knock sensors.. just curious.

To the human ear the sound is close, but human ears aren't audio analyzers either. I would guess it's in the realm of possibility for the knock sensors to pick it up and believe there was detonation *BUT*. PTV issues trump knock issues. I wouldn't worry about KR if my valves are kissing my pistons. Fix that first.

Unstoppable KR is usually just a bad sensor or two. Could even be a pinched wire on the harness. My problems are related to the sensors themselves. I've got them turned down now (just a little) and it's great.
