What can cause a ls1 not to idle and blow out alot of black smoke?I changed the maf but that wasn't it.

MAF and O2s have the largest effect on fueling.
also ignition problems can let fuel into the exhaust.
leaky injectors can make you run rich enough to blow black.


you need some kind of DETAILS... your post is far too vauge to get any real help.. and this is NOT advanced tech.
