Did you reset it? With the ignition key turned to the on position, hold in the trip button for about 10 seconds. The oil change light will flash. Then your done.

I believe it comes on every 3,000 or 3,500 miles. It basicly means what is says. Change your oil. If you are running Amsoil or GC oil you can go alot longer than 3,000 miles. You just have to rest the oil change light...and no there is nothing wrong with your motor.

Oh! Thanks fellas! I run Mobil 1 synthetic, so I should be ok, no burning or leaking of oil, car runs great, almost to 103k miles, but damn does it run (and look) like a 10k mile car,
