Default Need input P0300 & P0336!

I was running my car WOt and around 5K to 5.5K the engine misfires and it stalls and shuts down. I checked the trouble and it was P0336= Crankshaft positin sensor circuit, range or performance and P0300 Misfire code. And i was wondering should I check the Crank code first or Misfire code. I am thinking if the Crank sensor's circuit is bad then it will thow the missfire code. Am I right? or should I worry about the misfire code?
