SD vs MAF
SD vs MAF Hello Guys,
I've heard about Speed Density and don't quite know what it is. My current understanding of MAF is exactly what the name says, it just tells the PCM how much air is being sucked in by the motor correct? Any help with this noob question would be appreciated.

Okay thanks for the reply. I did a little more research and I think I fully grasp this. But from what I understand MAF is the only way to go for optimum performance and fuel economy. In what real world reason would you want to go SD from MAF?
