Default Car shutting down since header install.

Posting for a friend. The car is a '00 vette. It had a mild cam installed but was still running through the stock manifolds. The car was dyno tuned and ran beautifully.
Recently, the manifolds were removed and longtube headers were installed. Now, the car doesn't want to run any more when at idle. The car has to be "stalled up" while sitting at a light. As you can guess, this method is killing the gas mileage.
The car was tuned and then retuned but still could not solve the problem. Any ideas what could be wrong? It really is hard to understand since the cam is so mild.

check the sensor on the block by the driver side header(towards the front of the car, you might have knocked it off or damaged it during header install....many people do
