Reflash ?

Hey I Got A 98 Ta With H/c That I Just Did An A4 To M6 Swap. I Have A Friend With A 04 Z06. Could I Use His Vin To Reflash My Pcm. My Car Is Untune Right Now.

The Thing Is Since I Got To Reflash My Pcm For A M6 Anyways And The Car Hasnt Been Tune Yet, Was Wondering If It Will Run Better With The Z06 Vin.

no, you cannot use a Z06 vin in a 98 car.... 99+ yes, but not 98's, or you will probably kill the pcm.

If you need a vin for a M6, just look for a ws6 on ebay, as it will have the 160 mph speed limiter, something like xxx5577 is the latest calibration for these cars.
