Gettig car tuned for first time
Gettig car tuned for first time I finally finished my turbo set up and have setup an appointment with the tuners. I have never had my car tuned, and dont know what to expect, what kind of questions should I ask? What do I need? I dont have wideband install if it makes a difference.
what software they use, do they lock the tune, is it going to be a std maf tune or are they doing a speed density 2/3 bar tune, what kind of a/f are they shooting at depending upon your boost level, how much timing are they shooting for, etc.
just look over everything they do and ask alot of questions...in other words be a pain in their *** while ur there & try and find out what exactly they're doin to ur car without gettin in their way lol, then if anything sounds funny or if they're not gonna fine tune some things, just ask why and look for an explanation. hope u get nice #'s good luck!
