Default Stock 2000 computer on a TT 408?

Would I be able to use my stock computer from a 2000 T/A in a turbo'd 408 iron block? I really won't see why not...? I'm in the process of "doing my homework" to figure out what tuning package I should get and don't want to look back and think that I should have done things differently. Will I be able to use HP Tuners and EFI with an aftermarket computer like RoadRunner? If I won't need it, I won't worry about it.

Basically I'm trying to figure out what the "gotcha's" are when buying LS1 tuning software.

Thanks!

Well the only problem with running the stock ecu on a big set up is if you go over 3 bar of boost (around 30psi) and running huge injectors such as 90#. When you get to that big of an injector you need to have low impedance injectors and the stock ecu is set up for high impedance injectors. They sell driver boxes that let you run low impedance injectors on stock ecu and it would probably still be cheaper than a stand alone unit.
