Default Lights thrown need help

So im riding with my dad, and this pesky neon is next to us revving and i just tell him to mash the hell out of it, and he down shifts but, manages to go into 2nd rather than 4th and all **** happens. after he manages to get it back into an ok gear for 70 mph and i notice that the LOW TRAC light is on and im like wtf did he do, and about 15 seconds later i get a little ding and the ABS INOP , ASR OFF and the BRAKE light are all shining there on my dash... im thinking great my car is dead but no check engine light thank god.

so we pull into a parking lot and turn the car off. and look around we have no fluid dripping the brakes seem to look intact and everything appears fine. we get back into the car to limp home and after we start the lights are off and it is as iff nothing happened....

so im here to ask you guys being that i know nothing about the pcm and what not.... is this normal or ok or should i hit panic mode and go to my mechanic and have him look at it? the car is getting new brakes next week so if it can wait till then i would rather wait, but if it is serious i can go tomorrow

thanks

have you driven it since and are the lights still on after the car runs for a little?

if they are, check under your car near the driver side rear at the rearend but up on the body...there are a set of wires that plug into the body.. check those first... i have actually heard of them being thrown around

It's normal for all of those lights to come on when the computer notices a difference in rotational speed between the front and rear tires.

the car is probably fine, it will do that when the rear tires move more than the front

Was it an S_R_T_4 neon.

You have an LS1 one right.

He would have spanked your *** if you ran in to him on the highway. Those things are mean if you run into them cruising. But off the line you would have spanked him. They can't hook up.
